Our "Little"Christmas Tree

This year I decided that we were definitely going to put a tree up because last year we let that slip right on by and had no Christmas tree. However, I knew that if I would have put up our full-size tree, Ana-Patrick would be oh so tempted to jump in the middle of it or eat the entire tree. LOL! I found this adorable 3 foot tree and knew it would be perfect for our situation. We had so much fun decorating it and she even got to pick out her very own ornament, an Elmo ornament of course! What special memories!

Ana-Patrick is so lucky to have such amazing Grandparents. My mom bought her a pool because the one we used last year isn't in working condition anymore. This pool is so nice, has a pump and everything. As soon as we put her in the water, she LOVED it. I was a little afraid that she wouldn't remember it from last year. Thank the Lord for swimming pools!

Yes, you read that title correctly, I have a new LOVE in my life. BUT...Before any of you gasp out loud or call me ugly names, don't worry...I didn't cheat on my husband. I got the HOOVER STEAMVAC SPINSCRUB 12 AMP MOTOR, HEATED CLEANING, SPIN SCRUBBING BRUSH, CARPET CLEANER!! No pictures as of yet, I couldn't walk away long enough. Just wanted to update you guys on my life. Back to cleaning the carpet...By the way, it is unbelievable what comes out of the carpet when you thought all along you were keeping it clean. I am seriously going to get a specimen and bring it to the lab at work for a culture. I am afraid of the outcome. I'll keep you up to date.

Gabby spent last Wednesday night over at our place because she had orientation for SOUTHEASTERN!! We are so glad that she is going to be closer and we hope we get to spend a lot of time with her. Last week I finally had the chance to pay Mary, my dear friend, back for all the times that she watched Ana-Patrick while I was finishing up nursing school. Grayson was so well behaved. A quick story...Ana-Patrick had been running circles around Grayson while he was trying to nap. This literally went on for about 5 minutes. Grayson looks up at me from the floor and ask, "Is she like this every single day?". I couldn't help but laugh, but I replied with, "Pretty much Grayson". Jessica and I took Ana-Patrick to Ducky Joe's yesterday and she had blast! Well, we all did. Jessica got in the spacewalk with Ana-Patrick and I couldn't believe how brave she was (Ana-Patrick that is). She slid down the slide and jumped and tumbled and had a grand ole time. We stayed for a good 2 hours until I could see the look in my daughters eyes that she was beyond exhaustion but didn't want to give in. She ended up taking a 2 1/2 hour nap when we got home!
