My Birthday Gift

Rick gave me my birthday present early today and this is the picture I took as they were bringing my gift to me. Ana-Patrick is holding the little red pouch with my gift. I think it is so sweet and means just as much as the gift does. I have been wanting a simple cross necklace for a while now so my amazing husband got me a white gold cross with a black diamond in the middle (he gave me black diamond earrings for Christmas). I will post a picture of the necklace soon. I am so lucky and I love it!! Thank you baby!

Her New Ride

Jill and Peyton picked this toy up for us at Wal-Mart and it is so adorable. It is a push toy and as you can see, a toy she can ride. She loved it! It makes the cutest laughing sounds. She is so spoiled it's ridiculous.

Sleeping in the Pool

Sunday afternoon, the weather was pretty nice so Rick decided to take Ana-Patrick out back for a swim. I had been cleaning inside (because I am obsessively cleaning the carpet now that she is crawling) and after about 30 minutes Rick knocked on the window for me to come and see. I couldn't believe it when I walked outside and she was actually SLEEPING in the pool. These are the most adorable pictures to me and they show just how relaxed she is in the water. She is really developing the most amazing personality.

Mommy-Daughter Talk

After I finished feeding Ana-Patrick this evening, we were just sitting in the kitchen the 2 of us having a little chat. Rick was outside doing some yard work while I was so lucky to have this amazing conversation with my amazing daughter. I could watch this over and over again. Pay close attention to her bottom 2 teeth and how much they cut through her gums. She is now working on the top 2, so please keep us all in your prayers.

Not a Cage...LOL

I never thought I would buy one of these but I now have added the inventor of this safety play yard to the list of people that I thank God for every morning. It was getting so difficult to watch her every move because she can now crawl down the hall and be in another room in about 5 seconds. She loves being in her 'play-yard' because she has enough room to move around and have her entire toy basket in there with her. Peyton, don't cry...she is only in her for little bits at a time. I promise she loves it and so do we!!

How happy is Gran in these pictures? Ana-Patrick had so much fun with Gran, laughing at her and playing. I LOVE the 2nd picture because it expresses all the emotions that I feel when I see Gran holding Ana-Patrick. It is the times like this past weekend that I will cherish forever.

Quality Time with Tia and Peyton

Ana-Patrick and I met Gran, Tia, and Peyton in Lake Charles on Saturday night and we had the most amazing weekend. First of all, I accomplished something I didn't think I would ever be able to do...drive 3 hours with her all by myself! She was so well behaved and I am so thankful to have such an amazing baby! I am also so thankful that Ana-Patrick has so many people that love her, and this includes both sides of our family. We feel love and affection from most everyone towards Ana-Patrick and appreciate all of you so much!

How Did She Do This?

Ana-Patrick was in her pack and play watching a DVD while I was in the kitchen cooking dinner. I would poke my head around the corner to check on her and the 2nd or 3rd time I did, this is what I saw!! I couldn't believe first of all that she was just standing up watching her movie (lol) and second of all that she was able to pull up without anything to use to pull on. It still remains a mystery...
